What is PeBL?
Personalized eBooks for Learning (PeBL) is a specification funded by the Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative (ADL) and developed by Eduworks to enable more advanced features and possibilities in eBooks. The PeBL specification extends the existing EPUB3 specification by specifying how to create extensions that introduce new functionality as well as how to utilize the Experience API (xAPI) to track and analyze user metrics within eBooks.
